Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in Agile scrum teams and work on Features for management & control of the Packet Optical Devices for product suite
- Understanding requirements from the Product Owners or Architects in various areas of the Packet Technologies such as IP or MPLS, ISIS/OSPF/BGP/L3 VPN/L2 VPN & breaking them in various use cases
- Help design team to know the business & customer requirements.
- Get MCP design queries to be resolved from device team.
- Creates customer replica for design team.
- Fast Prototyping using latest technologies & open source platforms for Web & NMS domains
- Make Automated Test Suites and execute test automation of features Troubleshooting product problems found in the System Integration Testing & Customer deployments.
Mandatory skills:
- 8 to 14 years of hand-on experience as domain or technology consultant
- Experience & understanding of Layer-2 & 3 protocols
- Experience of creating the most complex device that is router or switches.
- Written & Spoken communications skills.
- Good experience in the Solution testing like testing experience over CISCO or Juniper routers or switches.
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Problem-Solving skills.
- Written & Spoken communications skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to the Microservice Architecture platforms & REST APIs.
- Exposure to the Elastic Search & Cassandra databases
- Exposure to the Apache Kafka processing platform
